A Spring Symphony // nFocus Magazine

Photographing nearly 30 incredible women for Nfocus Magazine’s April cover was both an exciting challenge and a true honor. Coordinating a group of that size requires a balance of precision, patience, and quick thinking—especially when capturing everyone looking their best in one frame! From posing to lighting to making sure every detail felt cohesive, it was one of those shoots that reminds me why I love what I do. The energy in the room was full of laughter, elegance, and genuine connection, and it was such a privilege to be the one documenting it all.

This feature celebrates the 20th anniversary of the Schermerhorn Nashville Symphony Fashion Show, a beloved Nashville tradition supporting the Nashville Symphony. The women photographed represent two decades of dedication, creativity, and philanthropic leadership—each one having played a role in making the show a success. Nfocus did a beautiful job telling the story of how the event has evolved over the years, and I’m proud that my images are part of honoring that legacy. It’s always extra special when a shoot is not only visually stunning but also rooted in purpose and community.
