Sequins, Overalls & Fried Bologna

This shoot was a total blast from the very first frame. I had the absolute joy of photographing the fun-loving crew behind the 4th Annual Hog Ball for the September cover of YOUR WILLIAMSON, and let me tell you, they brought the party. Between the cowboy hats, tuxedo jackets, fringe, and fried bologna talk, it was Southern style and personality turned all the way up.

We photographed at the Eastern Flank Battlefield Park, which gave us the perfect backdrop for this playful-meets-patriotic vibe. Everyone showed up ready to have a good time and didn’t hold back. Lots of laughs, a little dancing, and a whole lot of personality. This group made my job easy and my cheeks sore from smiling.

What I love most is that behind the sequins and sass, the Hog Ball raises real dollars for amazing local nonprofits. That kind of heart, paired with this much fun? Sign me up every time.
