Using the MagMod MagBox Outdoors with the AD200 and V850ii // Nashville Photographer

One of my absolute favorite tools is theagMod MagBox. It's just the right size for a variety of uses and it's ? MAGNETIC. You can use it with speed lights, or if you get the mount adapter you can use it with your strobe lighting as well.

Using off-camera flash outdoors doesn't always have to be over-the-top. It can be subtle and add just a bit of mood to what was a rather dreary day in my neighborhood. For these photos, I wanted to spice up the images just a little bit by adding light. I used my Godox AD200 and my V850ii attached to the MagBox with the MagGrip.

For the first shot, I just wanted to add a little bit of light. The first image is natural light & the second is with MagBox.

For this next set of images I wanted one that looked almost naturally lit and then another with the MagBox coming from straight ahead to create a very dramatic look.

Keeping with the dramatic vibes... I photographed my model by the gutter and at the same time I also almost gave the world a crack show. (note to self, wear longer shirts) ?
